This animated anthology series showcases original stories set in iconic video game worlds. When I watch cinematic trailers or cutscenes for video games, I often think that some of them would be made for primetime television. I knew the creators of Love Death and Robots would nail another animated anthology series, and I’m glad to have been proven right. The Warhammer episode is definitely a standout for me so far, and I hope to see more of it in the future. My only complaint would be that some of the episodes would have more time. There are so many strong video game stories that could be delved into and adapted into this show, the possibilities are so exciting and I’m excited about them. I’ve gone for a more gritty and adult tone throughout. I’m very happy with what’s been shown so far and look forward to what’s to come. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
