A 40% deposit of the total amount is required to confirm and guarantee the reservation. The remaining 60% will be paid at check-in at the Hostel.
Group reservations of more than 6 people will be charged in full before the check-in date: 50% at the time of booking and 50% within 72 hours before check-in.
For non-refundable rate reservations, 100% of the value will be charged at the time of booking.
Deposits corresponding to reservations are non-refundable in case of cancellations that are not communicated at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date and time. Cancellations and modifications will only be accepted via email at [email protected], and El Misti Hostels will acknowledge receipt of the same.
Cancellation terms also apply to modifications. Cancellation conditions may vary for special events such as Carnival, New Year’s Eve, Rock in Rio, etc. Please check the conditions that apply to your reservation period by replying to this message.
In case of a “no show,” the total amount will be charged 24 hours after the check-in time if El Misti Hostels is not notified.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may cause the cancellation of your reservation. El Misti Hostels will gladly assist with the necessary documentation as proof of cancellation for this purpose.
Cancellations for groups of more than 6 people can only be made 30 days or more prior to the check-in date for the total amount paid for the reservation to be refunded. After this date, no refund of the reservation amount will be made.
For reservations made with a non-refundable cancellation policy, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged. If any cancellation occurs, no deposit will be refunded.
For the New Year’s Package 2023/24 (25/12/2024 to 04/01/2025) and Carnival Package (27/02/2025 to 05/03/2025), it is necessary to pay 50% of the reservation amount at the time of booking. Cancellations will only be processed 30 days before the check-in date. After this date, deposits will not be refunded. In case of no-show, the hostel will charge the total reservation amount.
For the Rock In Rio 2024 Package (12/09/2024 to 22/09/2024), it is necessary to pay 50% of the reservation amount at the time of booking. Cancellations will only be processed 15 days before the check-in date. After this date, deposits will not be refunded.
